New York Mets was founded in 1962. The new team required a new name and many
were suggested. The owners ultimately selected "Metropolitan Baseball Club of
New York or "Mets" because it was closely related to the club's already-existing
corporate name "New York Metropolitan Baseball Club, The name was received with
broad approval among fans and press.
The New York Mets are a Major League Baseball team based in Flushing, in the New
York City Borough of Queens. They play in the Eastern Division of the National
League. The Mets are one of two major league franchises in the City of New York,
along with the New York Yankees. After the 2004 season, Mets ownership made
significant changes to their management strategy. With their television contract
with the MSG Network expiring by the end of 2005, they announced plans to
establish their own cable network to broadcast Mets games, rivaling the
Yankee-owned YES Network.

| This is my favorite team. I like this team very much. Daniels is the coach of
this team. This is my favorite team of all baseball team. This is very
magnificent team. This team struggle is very impressive of all viewer of
baseball. I love it too much.
I am very amazed watch his records. The New York Mets set a team record for runs
scored during an inning with ten in the sixth frame against the Cincinnati Reds
in 1979. This record stood for twenty-seven years until they broke it with
eleven runs scored during the sixth on July 16, 2006. This is very wonderfully
efforts of this team.
This team every player high-quality played. This is very outstanding team. I am
watching this team all match. I am very enjoying seeing this team matches. My
family & my all friends like this team. This is completely brilliant baseball team.
Do you know about that set a team record for largest attendance on Opening Day
when 53,127 fans witnessed them shutout the Colorado Rockies in 1993. I am very
happy to watching this team match. Overall this is great team in my opinion. |
