The Giants originally played in New York from 1883 to 1957. They were known as
the Gothams for a few seasons before the Giants name was adopted in the 1880s.
The San Francisco Seals were a minor league baseball team which played in the
Pacific Coast League from 1903 until 1957. Along with the Los Angeles Angels,
Portland Beavers, Oakland Oaks, Sacramento Solons, and Seattle Indians, the
Seals were charter members of the Pacific Coast League which was founded in 1903.
McGraw handed over the team to Bill Terry in 1932, and Terry played for and
managed the Giants for ten years, winning three pennants and one World Series.
In 2002 the focus returned to the team, with the Giants winning the National
League wild card. In the playoffs, they defeated the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS
three games to two. On October 2, 2006, the day after the end of the regular
season, the Giants announced that they would not renew the contract of manager
Felipe Alou, but did extend him an offer to remain with the club in an advisory
role to the general manager and to baseball operations.

love this team very much. This team player attempt is very electrifying. All
players of this team are played very wonderfully. The San Francisco Giants is my
all time selected baseball team.
